On The Young and the Restless, Devon is pretty certain he knows who was behind scamming him out of Kay’s money.
It was Cane (Daniel Goddard), with Amanda’s (Mishael Morgan) help. He and Elena (Brytni Sarpy) are walking all over town, yelling about it, though Elena leans a bit more towards Colin (Tristan Rogers) being the mastermind. But what do the viewers think? Here’s the view from almost 4,000:
Father and Son Team
Why settle for only one, when 48% of the audience is pretty sure Colin and Cane were in on it together? This wouldn’t be the first con they’ve ever worked as a team, though you suspect Cane wasn’t expecting Colin to steal all his money and take off.
At least Cane set up trust funds for the twins — Colin’s grandchildren, remember them? So they won’t have to be icky poor people. Colin would never hang out with them, otherwise.
On My Own
A slightly smaller 45% of you believe Colin acted alone. If Cane was in on it, why would he have been conked over the head in Las Vegas? Colin was perfectly happy to steal from his son, so why wouldn’t he have set up the entire scheme to begin with?
The Other Single
No more than 4% see Cane going out on his own over this. Why would he, when he could have taken the job Jill (Jess Walton) offered him, or some other legitimate way to make money? Sure, Cane wanted to provide for the twins, but he also wants his kids to be proud of him. This isn’t the ideal way to do it.
Last Choice
An even smaller 3% are eyeing Jill suspiciously. Sure, she says she tracked down Colin in order to make him admit the truth. But she was awfully quick to point the finger at him, wasn’t she? The Young and the Restless (YR) airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
