Of all The Young and the Restless couples needing to demonstrate affection while following social distancing rules, Nicholas and Phyllis are doing the best job, even if it’s only sexy talk and some suggestive video game playing.
The Young and the Restless Polling
But is all as smooth as it seems? Could Nick be plotting against the woman who is constantly plotting against various members of his family? Here is what over 3,500 of you think:
Building Buildings Building
Almost half of you, 47%, don’t believe that Nick (Joshua Morrow) is currently doing anything to undermine the latest love of his life. He is truly supportive of her hotel and of her plans to add a spa for women only.
But how long will that support last once Phyllis continues harassing Abby (Melissa Ordway) – beyond blackmail and dino bones, that is? You know Phyllis won’t stop until she has everything she wants. And everything she wants is everything she sees. For these fans, you expect Nick to be for Phyllis… before he’s against her.
New Old Love
Nick isn’t the type to plot, 32% of the audience counters. Whether because he’s too nice or too dim. If he says he is back in love with Phyllis (Michelle Stafford), then he is back in love with Phyllis. We may not understand why. We may not care. But we accept that he’s sincere about it.
Game On!
And then there are the 21% who, because they don’t understand this reunion – and don’t like it – are convinced it has to be an evil plot on Nick’s part. Phyllis blackmailed Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) and Abby over Adam (Mark Grossman) and Chance’s (Danny Boaz) secret. And now she is literally sabotaging his sister’s plans.
If Nick isn’t scheming against Phyllis, then he is kind of a chump, and that’s not what you all signed up for. The Young and the Restless (YR) airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
