On The Young and the Restless, Billy has been on a downward spiral for months. It all started when Adam (Mark Grossman) returned to Genoa City. Billy (Jason Thompson) was reminded of Delia’s death. (It’s a bit convenient, since she rarely comes up at other times.)
So he began hearing voices, seeing things… and chewing gum. He tried to run Adam down at the same spot where Adam ran down Delia (by accident). Chloe (Elizabeth Hendrickson) stopped him. Billy took a nap – complete with Daytime Emmy episode-bait dream sequence – and woke up feeling all better.
He assured Victoria (Amelia Heinle) all was well. Then quit therapy and began hanging out at dive bars with Amanda (Mishael Morgan) — and lying to Victoria about it. So is he on the right trail with his life? What over 3,000 think about Jill’s (Jess Walton) big boy:
A primary 89% think Billy is headed for even more trouble than usual. He’s so busy talking to himself and throwing pity parties about how everyone thinks he’s a screwup, that he’s becoming… a major screw up.
He’s hurting Victoria. He’s hurting the kids. He’s pissed off Amanda — and even Chloe is mad at him for not telling Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) not to get back together with Adam. In a nutshell, nobody likes him. Which just feeds his self-pity spiral. Get off the merry-go-round, Billy!
A much smaller 11% of you are on the “You go, Billy” bandwagon. No one knows what’s better for them than the person in trouble. Billy doesn’t need a therapist and he doesn’t need input from his loved ones. Billy can handle any issues that come up with just himself and the dour voice in his head. At least it’s on his side!
