It feels a bit like the mouse that roared at a bear on The Young and the Restless, these days, doesn’t it? In a fit of unearned confidence that can only come from growing up rich and adored by not one, not two, but three doting parents, Abby (Melissa Ordway) has decided that not only can she beat Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) professionally, but personally, and in every other way, as well.
The Young and the Restless Polling
But does Victor (Eric Braeden) and Ashley’s (Eileen Davidson) little naked heiress have what it takes to bring down Big Red? The view from over 7,000 viewers!
You’ve Got It All
A two-thirds majority, 66% of the audience, is happy to put their money on Abby. Did you hear her Phyllis imitation for Chance (Donny Boaz) the other day? She’s learned from the master – and is now ready to turn it right back on her.
Plus, Abby’s cause is good and noble. Phyllis wants to expose that Adam (Mark Grossman) and Chance killed a man and lied to his wife about him being in witness protection. Abby wants to bury that truth because… well, because… it would make her boyfriend sad. So, yeah, noble! Plus, she wants her hotel back.
Little Lamb
A smaller 34% of The Young and the Restless fans are quietly chuckling, “Uhm… no.” Abby may make her voice sound like Phyllis but she doesn’t have enough darkness in her soul to do what really needs to be done. Abby is playing at being bad. And Phyllis ain’t playing.
Abby thinks she’s a badass, because life has, more or less, gone her way up to this point. But that’s because she’s rich. And blonde. And pretty. And rich.
Phyllis doesn’t care about any of that. And Phyllis plays dirty. You know how she got the hotel away from Abby and Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan)? That wasn’t even her A-game. The Young and the Restless (YR) airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
