The Young and the Restless Poll Results: Does Jill Need To Come Down The Hill?

The last time The Young and the Restless fans saw Jill, she was quizzing Chance on his love life, and assuring Devon that she would help get his stolen money back.

And then she went back to wherever it was she keeps herself the rest of the time. But is it time for Jill (Jess Walton) to return to Genoa City for good? What over 10,000 fans had to say about the possibility:

That’s what we’re talking about, 65% of you cheer! Jill’s sorely needed back home! First and foremost, let’s be honest, Billy (Jason Thompson) is a mess. We don’t think Jill will fix any of his self-pitying monologues, mind you.

But Jill is really, really good at blaming other people for her own — and Billy’s — issues. She’ll blame Victoria (Amelia Heinle), Victor (Eric Braeden), Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott), Adam (Mark Grossman), Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan)… anyone but her precious baby boy.

The same way she refuses to consider that Cane (Daniel Goddard) — who once passed himself off as anther of her precious baby boys — might have been in cahoots with Colin (Tristan Rogers) when it came to stealing Devon’s (Bryton James) money.

Genoa City has been a bit too quiet lately – Billy’s monologues are all internal. Jill makes things loud.

Not Needed

On the other hand, 35% of The Young and the Restless fans are good with things staying just the way they are. You haven’t noticed Jill’s absence, which means she isn’t needed. Billy is her only connection to Genoa City these days, and he’d rather hang out in dive bars with Amanda (Mishael Morgan) that any member of his own family — which includes Jill.
