The Young and the Restless Poll Results: BFFs For Lola and Summer?

On The Young and the Restless, the ice storm threw together several odd couples, including Billy and Amanda, the Baldwin-Fishers, and Victor and Adam. But the most surprising one may yet prove to be Summer (Hunter King) and Lola (Sasha Calle).

The two bonded over Coyote Ugly, working in food service (Lola as a profession, Summer on a rich girl whim), and, well, it’s kind of obvious they have the same taste in men. While they were hitting it off, Kyle (Michael Mealor) and Theo (Tyler Johnson) were arm-wrestling and mumbling manly things.

So could these two ladies become BFFs? It’s not like they have a lot of other options in Genoa City. The opinions of almost 9,000 voters.

Boy, was it close! A slightly larger 51% of the audience went with, “Yes! Let’s go get mani-pedis and drink Cosmos and… uh… pillow fight?” Whatever it is best friends do, let’s do it! We can talk about how Kyle can’t commit and how Theo is kind of smarmy, and how neither one is as smart and ambitious as either of us and, oh, yeah, we are totes hot!

But what happens after that? Once it’s sisters before misters, will they be obliged to drop both the guys? Granted, it’s no great loss. And it might be a nice reality check for the two self-perceived studs. Sisters are doing it for themselves! You guys can go back to arm-wrestling.
