It was a tense stand-off for Chelsea and Adam this week on The Young and the Restless and things got way out of hand fast.
Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) thought she could handle the guy threatening Connor’s (Judah Mackey) life and demanding one million dollars from her all by herself. She was wrong. So, Simon (Jeffrey Vincent Parise) held Chelsea, Connor, Abby (Melissa Ordway), and Adam (Mark Grossman) at gunpoint.
Will this life and death confrontation prompt both Chelsea and Adam to realize they’re better together than apart? Do the fans agree with them?
If You Can’t Beat Them
They are both terrible people, 78% of you remind. So why not be terrible together? Chelsea will never be the woman Nick (Joshua Morrow) wants. He’s too caveman solid, while she’s a once and former con artist. And Adam can tell himself Sharon (Sharon Case) might save his soul. But does he really want it saved?
And then there’s Connor, the master manipulator. He inherited both his parents’ worst character traits — and he isn’t afraid to use them. This is a family forged in hell. So they might as well go there together. Hand-basket optional.
Snap Out Of It, Chelsea And Adam!
Of course, there are also 22% of The Young and the Restless fans who think a Chelsea and Adam reunion is the worst possible thing that can happen to them… and to Genoa City.
These two bring out the evil in each other’s souls and then egg each other on to see who can go further. They’re both pariahs with a strong tendency toward sociopathy. They need to be in different rooms. In different buildings. In different states.
Sure, Connor will whine. But he whines whenever he doesn’t get his way — they should be used to it by now. Come up with a co-parenting agreement, and then move on. You can talk through your lawyers. The Young and the Restless (YR) airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
