Chelsea and Nick The Young and the Restless
They look like just another The Young and the Restless happy family, don’t they? Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) returned to Genoa City, her husband conveniently died, and she moved back in with Nick (Joshua Morrow). They were raising Connor (Judah Mackey) and Christian together… just like they meant to do the last time they were engaged. But, that’s on hold for now.
Sure, Connor seems to be a budding psychopath, and Christian can’t seem to make eye-contact, but everything is great even with Connor now living with Adam! Except for the question: Chelsea and Nick AKA Chick. Hot… or not? We heard from almost 8,000 viewers!
They are so not, 52% of you feel like being gagged with a proverbial spoon. Seriously, how many times are The Powers That Be going to shove this couple down our throats before they realize and accept that NO ONE IS INTERESTED?
Chelsea was with Nick for, what, a few days before she was accepting suitcases full of cash from shady lawyers and asking Kevin (Greg Rikaart) to launder it for her. Clearly, Nick isn’t her end-game. She’s always looking for a way out.
And Nick just ends up looking stupid for not figuring it out and taking her back, time after time after time. Enough already!
Of course, 43% of The Young and the Restless fans are loving the pairing. Nick and Chelsea are finally the family they were always meant to be. Nick spent so much time ping-ponging back and forth between Sharon (Sharon Case) and Phyllis (Michelle Stafford), it’s obvious neither woman is the right fit for him.
Chelsea is more flexible. She’s used to becoming whatever she needs to be in order to get what she wants. She’ll make Nick happy… until something better comes along.
Nick flew off to Las Vegas and got Adam (Mark Grossman) to return. Which means things are about to get very interesting… for viewers. The Young and the Restless (YR) airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
