Life sounds like it’s going well for the New York-situated intern Charlie Ashby on The Young and the Restless. Currently, the same can be said for his portrayer, Noah Alexander Gerry, who’s celebrating a major milestone today.
That’s because he was born on May 14, 1997, in Jacksonville, Florida, which means that this talented young man is turning 27 years old today! It was actually Gerry’s sisters who wanted to be the actors in the family.
He didn’t get bitten by “the bug” until he was well into his pre-teens, and his newfound love of the craft was brought about by landing an audition for a drama series.
Like many a budding performer before him, Gerry began his career on Disney Channel shows — such as A.N.T. Farm (Nigel) — and Nickelodeon series like Henry Danger.
His other credits include All About the Washingtons (Trey), Family Reunion (in the recurring role of Drew), Fuller House (where he has played the recurring role of Ethan since 2019), and both Grey’s Anatomy and Station 19 (where he has recurred as Joey Phillips).
Gerry took on the role of Charlie Ashby — the son of Cane (Daniel Goddard) and Lily (Christel Khalil) and the twin of Matilda — AKA Mattie (Lexie Stevenson) — on Y&R on May 24, 2017. For the past few years, this character has been off-screen after going to New York.
He was the fourth actor to assume the part, having replaced incumbent Brandin Stennis. Gerry’s hobbies outside of acting include photography, listening to music, and skateboarding.
Soap Hub would like to wish Noah Alexander Gerry a very happy birthday, and you can, too, by clicking on the X (formerly Twitter) link below.
