The coronavirus pandemic has caused people to make momentous decisions, as well as find their sense of humor wherever they can. And that’s just what The Young and the Restless star Michelle Stafford is doing thanks to quarantine.

Michelle Stafford: Big Decision

Doesn’t staying at home make you feel like you’re losing time? Perhaps this time can be used as just a pause in our lives to reflect, but not allow time to pass. That’s what Stafford has announced she’s doing in her latest Instagram post.

“So I joked about this before but I am FOR REAL not counting any of this time (we’ve been in quarantine) as my age! I am taking off (at least) a year off my age guys… maybe more. If anyone has a problem with that… just take it up with the big guy.

“So, maybe I will just go back to this time I did this photoshoot with @bkheadshots in September of 2019 and I’ll be starting from there. So, I guess this is not a legit #TBT but a plain #thursday Post. Feel free to do the same. I mean, why not, who the hell would dispute it… #iam35 #ish #sarcasmfolks #ish.”

Of course, this is tongue in cheek from the actress who is known for her unique sense of humor. When The Young and the Restless returns, will it feel like no time has passed for Phyllis, as we hope the show picks up right where it left off? When we last saw Phyllis, she was renewing her relationship with Nick (again), much to their daughter, Summer’s, chagrin.

If Phyllis doesn’t age, then why can’t the same happen for the actress who plays her. Heck, why can’t it happen for all of us who have been staying home and staying safe? The Young and the Restless (YR) airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
