Singer Demi Lovato spent a romantic weekend at Joshua Tree with boyfriend Max Ehrich, ex-Fenmore Baldwin on The Young and the Restless, and shared the details on her Instagram account.
Alongside a series of photos of the couple’s intimate getaway in the desert, including a perfect shot of the two kissing while the sun was setting, Lovato expressed her love for the former daytime star.
“Had an amazing weekend in the magical desert of Joshua Tree with my love @maxehrich,” she wrote, adding a heart emoji in the process. “I went to work on a project but it was so nice to get away for a couple days.. thank you for making me so happy my dear.. I love going on adventures with you.”
Ehrich quickly responded to her post with a sweet message to the former Disney star he calls his girlfriend.
“I love you to the furthest galaxy and back again (adding a rose emoji) what a weekend,” he responded under Lovato’s post.
He also posted the photos on his own Instagram page, captioning them with “magical weekend in Joshua Tree with the love of my life 💘 @ddlovato.”
Lovato also thanked friend Lyndan Coleman for being a “third wheel” and snapping the adorable photos.
The singer, who performed at both the 2020 Super Bowl and the 2020 Grammy Awards, is expected to have one of the top songs of the summer with I’m Ready, her recently-released duet with Sam Smith. A new album, her first since 2017’s hit Tell Me You Love Me is expected sometime in the fall.
Since leaving YR in 2015, Max Ehrich has worked on several projects, most recently starring on American Princess and in the Netflix film, Walk, Wide, Rodeo.
