The Young and the Restless News Update: Adrienne Frantz’s Last Day of Pregnancy

Adrienne Frantz expanded her onscreen extended family when she brought her character, Amber, from The Bold and the Beautiful to The Young and the Restless. Now, the former YR/BB star is set to welcome new addition to her real-life brood.

“Officially my last day of being pregnant!!!” Frantz posted on Instagram in a black and white photo that she appears in along with her family, husband Scott Bailey (ex-Sandy, Guiding Light), their daughter Amélie, and Frantz’s mother Vicky — and the family dog! “We celebrated with a Slurpee pizza party!!! Can’t wait to meet you tomorrow baby!!! #havingababy #pregnant #gonnabeamommy #again.”

Adrienne Frantz made the daytime scene as Tiffany on the NBC serial Sunset Beach. She exited that soap but was quickly scooped up by BB as Ambrosia “Amber” Moore, Rick’s (Jacob Young) babysitter. The two not only had a fling, but Amber ended up donating a kidney to Rick after he injured one of his while drag racing.

Amber was embroiled in many stories on BB. She lost Rick’s baby but then used her cousin Becky’s (Marissa Tait) son to pass off as hers and Rick’s. The truth came out, causing Rick and Amber to split. She eventually left town and then popped up in Genoa City on BB’s sister soap, YR. There, Amber befriended Katherine Chancellor (the late Jeanne Cooper) and wrote her memoir, I’m Going to Live Till I Die.

Next, Amber returned to BB and gave birth to Marcus’s (Texas Battle) daughter, Rosie. Soon after, she faded from the canvas. Recently, Frantz has popped up again on classic re-airings of BB and YR.
