The Young and the Restless star Melissa Ordway is great at using social media to interact with her fans. Recently, the actress – who plays Abby Newman – offered some responses to a few of the often-asked questions that she receives.

“I’ll title this post as ‘Answering Questions’ ✨,” Ordway wrote on her Instagram account. “I promise, I’m going to get better at responding to comments and DMs, but until then…”
On daughter Olivia’s arm: “Thank you all sooooo much for asking about Olivia’s arm. She’s doing amazing and she’s the sweetest, bravest, toughest 4 year old I know! She hurt her arm by tripping over the bottom step (pictured here) and landed on her elbow. Her surgeon said the surgery should fix it all up! She’ll have to wear for the cast for an estimated 4 weeks. 🤕.”
On if she and her family have moved to Nashville: “We still live in LA,” Melissa Ordway wrote. “We also bought some land outside Nashville. We have some fun stuff coming up for you and I hope you’ll follow along! 🏡.”

Currently, Ordway’s character Abby is fighting with her rival, Phyllis (Michelle Stafford), while both women are trying to establish themselves as Genoa City’s premiere hotel-owners. On the romantic front, she’s paired with Chance (Donny Boaz), who hails from one of Genoa City’s most respected families, the Chancellors. The Young and the Restless airs weekdays on CBS.
