The Young and the Restless favorite Eric Braeden has been very vocal over the last six months about the importance of wearing a mask, so now he wants to bring Victor Newman into the game to make sure we keep each other safe during the coronavirus pandemic still claiming more than 1,000 American lives a day.
Eric Braeden Has A Masking Message
The Daytime Emmy-winning actor debuted a brand-new website on Thursday, EricBraedenOriginals.com, which is selling — you guessed it — masks, but these masks not only protect, they send a message or two.
Braeden’s image appears on each mask, and it looks as if Victor Newman, a man you don’t want to mess with in Genoa City, is making sure you know what to do.
“Wear The Damn Mask” is displayed across one of them, while there is another that just says “WTDM” with an image of the American flag. Eric Braeden also features a mask with Victor telling us to “VOTE,” with the words also accompanied by the flag. While it doesn’t tell you who to vote for, it does ask that you exercise your right this fall. (Early and mail-in voting in some states start in just two weeks.)
The masks are described as “non-medical grade mask … made from 100% ring-spun cotton. Fabric is made in California and masks are assembled and printed in Mexico with water base ink. Adjustable masks fit any adult size face.”
Here is a message from Braeden himself: “These face masks are made of 100% cotton and double-layered for extra protection. The mask is adjustable so it fits just about any adult face. It is also ‘sustainable’ since the mask can be washed up to 25 times – this helps keep the environment free of disposable masks that end up in our oceans and landfills. These are all great reasons to WEAR THE DAMN MASK!”
You can order one mask for $9 or a bundle of all three varieties for $18. Shipping is via USPS first class mail. The Young and the Restless (YR) airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
