September 29th marks a big day for The Young and the Restless star Kristoff St. John (Neil) and his family. They will be staging a protest against the rehabilitation facility where his son passed away.
Mental Illness Awareness
The St. John family will meet with others to help support people living with mental illness who don’t have a voice. They want to shed light and offer their support to others in whatever way possible. This gathering comes just months before the family will also hit an L.A courtroom where they’ll fight for justice for their son.
“There will be a peaceful protest tomorrow, September 29th at 9 am, at La Casa Hospital, shedding light on mental health issues/awareness,” St. John wrote in his social media post. “Also bringing the spotlight on La Casa Hospital that has allowed multiple deaths over the years, my son being one of them.”
Justice for Julian!
St. Johns son, Julian, committed suicide two years ago, and in November the family will take Telecare Corporation to court. The suit is designed to bring attention to the struggle of those living with mental health issues. The family is fighting for tighter laws and better care.
