Noemi Gonzalez shared some big news about her status as Mia on The Young and the Restless this past weekend. And, now, Jordi Vilasuso, who plays her husband Rey, has taken to social media himself to share his feelings about his Genoa City spouse.
On the heels of Jason Canela (Arturo) exiting Y&R, Gonzalez has announced that she’s leaving the CBS soap, as well. Vilasuso has weighed in on Gonzales’ upcoming departure.
“Since the beginning, you’ve brought everything 2 ur work on @YandR_CBS!” Vilasuso wrote. “U stepped up 2 the challenge of daytime TV and brought so much 2 the complex #MiaRosales from the get-go. Thx u 4 your talent & passion.”
Vilasuso went on to say both Gonzalez and Mia will be missed, but he notes she’s a star and she’ll continue to burn even brighter!
No word yet on when Gonzalez will be wrapping up as Mia, but fans should expect to see her on screen for about another month.
Mia was recently stunned to discover she was pregnant and either Rey or Arturo could be the unborn child’s father!
The Young and the Restless airs weekdays on CBS. Check local listings for air times.
