We love the good girls of The Young and the Restless, but which one did over 3,000 voters choose as their all-time favorite? Read on to find out!
The Young and the Restless Polling: Simply the Best
A majority 40% of you voted for Traci (Beth Maitland). Traci is always good and placid, no matter what happens. Husband cheats on her? Traci keeps smiling. Daughter dead? Traci keeps smiling. Siblings only let her become CEO of Jabot for a few minutes, then yank it away from her. Keep smiling. No wonder everyone loves her!
Matron Of Honor
A slightly smaller 33% of the audience voted for Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott), who is kind of the anti-Traci. Whenever anything bad happens to Nikki, she hits back and hits hard. No wonder everyone loves her!
Follow Up
Nikki says she hates Sharon (Sharon Case), and Sharon says she hates Nikki. But darn it if they aren’t two sides of the same coin. Sharon followed in Nikki’s footsteps even when she didn’t know she was doing it, and certainly would have never wanted to. No surprise then that Sharon got 20% of the vote, right behind her ex-mother-in-law.
Doesn’t Count
On the other hand, Traci’s sister, Ashley (Eileen Davidson), couldn’t even make it into the double digits, with only 4%. Ashley was the one Traci’s husband cheated with. And while she tries to be supportive where Traci is concerned, she often tends to overlook her while busy competing with Jack (Peter Bergman). That’s not how a heroine behaves!
Daddy’s Girl
Nikki may be a heroine, but only 3% voted for her daughter, Victoria (Amelia Heinle). Victoria, as Nick (Joshua Morrow) keeps sneering, is Victor’s (Eric Braeden) daughter, through and through. That doesn’t make heroines. It makes anti-heroines. And those need to be there if the good girls are to get a chance to shine. The Young and the Restless (YR) airs weekdays on CBS.
