CASTING NEWS: The Young and the Restless Expands The Rosales Family!

Genoa City’s “have not” family – the Rosales clan — is about to expand on The Young and the Restless.

Actress Sasha Calle is joining the show as Arturo and Rey’s younger sister, Lola.

Calle’s first airdate is set for Friday, September 14.

The actress happily took to Instagram to share the news that she’s joined the top-rated CBS soap, and she joyfully reports that things are going swimmingly!

“Everyone in the cast is astonishing,” she posted. “And it’s an honor to work with them and most importantly learn from them; [the] crew is unbelievable and so is everyone on the Y&R team. They create with love and it’s a tremendous honor [to be here].”

The daytime newcomer’s credits include the TV mini-series Socially Awkward and the short films Young Blood, Rogue Tiger, and Deep Cuts.

No word yet on which characters Lola will be involved with, but any love interest might find themselves on the receiving end of two overly protective big brothers – Rey (Jordi Vilasuso) and Arturo (Jason Canela)!
