Jack has been on thin ice with Phyllis for a while now on The Young and the Restless. It’s been so bad, it lead to her affair with his brother.
Now that she finally told him (does she believe it?) she’s recommitted to their relationship, did he really think it was a good time to publicly side against her? Well, that’s what happened at the Jabot Foundation board meeting.
Set Things Straight
With a motion to remove Hilary from the board, Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) outlined all the reasons for the ousting. There’s the bad press due to the lawsuits from other patients, but for Phyllis, it was Hilary’s shameless (or is that shameful) campaign to win Jack that sent her over the edge. Couple that with Hilary’s vehement denial and insistence that she was trying to fill the void for Jack since his wife was a no-show in their marriage and Phyllis was furious. So what did Jack do?

Wrong Side
He sided with the woman who wasn’t his wife. He seemed doomed when Phyllis stalked out of the meeting, but instead Phyllis told Billy (Jason Thompson) it was over when he followed her out. Smarting from that, Billy left and soon received a visit from a tipsy Victoria, who was sent there (without her realizing it) by Jill. They began to reminisce and came very close to kissing but Victoria pulled away. Billy helped her to the couch, where she fell asleep on his lap. It was a tender moment, leaving us wondering if this couple can find their way back to each other.
Pledge Our Love
Meanwhile, Jack (Peter Bergman) and Phyllis reconnected at the bar. Jack denied that Hilary had any real insight into their marriage no matter what she said.
