Melissa Claire Egan returns as Chelsea Newman on Friday, June 28. Egan initially debuted in the role in 2011 and had a seven-year run on the soap. Her character last aired in February 2018, when Chelsea left Genoa City with her son Connor in tow to avoid going to jail after embezzling money from Fenmore’s.
Eva La Rue debuts as Celeste Rosales on Wednesday, June 26. The character is Rey (Jordi Vilasuso) and Lola’s (Sasha Calle) mother. The actress, of course, is best known to daytime fans for her portrayal of Dr. Maria Santos on All My Children. Meanwhile, nighttime fans will recognize her as Det. Natalia Boa Vista on CSI: Miami.
