Who’s coming and who’s going from The Young and the Restless (YR)?
Are any favorite performers from yesteryear returning to the daytime drama, this week, or in the near future?
Have any new actors or actresses been cast on the show in con-tract, recurring or day player roles? Are any well remembered or beloved stars from other soaps, past or present, about to join The Young and the Restless fold in surprise new parts?
Here’s the latest casting news from the CBS soap.
The week of December 18, 2017
She’s back… actress Jess Walton, that is. After a lengthy absence, the daytime vet finally returns to Genoa City as Jill Abbott Atkinson on Monday, December 18.
Walton and Jill have been off the canvas for a while. She last appeared on the soap last summer. Walton spent the long break at her home in Oregon. Look for Jill to quickly mix things up with Billy (Jason Thompson), Cane (Daniel Goddard), and more.
There’s a new worker on the scene at the Newman home. Michael Thurman appears as Victor’s (Eric Braeden) ranch employee on Wednesday, December 20.
