Who’s coming and who’s going from The Young and the Restless? Are any favorite performers from yesteryear returning to the daytime drama, this week, or in the near future?

Have any new actors or actresses been cast on the show in contract, recurring or day player roles? Are any well remembered or beloved stars from other soaps, past or present, about to join The Young and the Restless fold in surprise new parts? Here’s the latest casting news from the CBS soap.

The week of April 29, 2019
The soap’s special tribute to the late Kristoff St. John (Neil Winters), airing on Monday, April 29, will feature some prominent past stars from the soap.

Victoria Rowell, remembered as Neil’s beloved late wife, Drucilla Winters, will be on hand for the stand-alone episode. Rowell last appeared on The Young and the Restless back in 2007. At the time her character was presumed dead after plummeting from a cliff.

Mishael Morgan, remembered as Neil’s ex-wife and ex-daughter-in-law, Hilary Curtis, will also be on hand to pay homage to St. John. The actress last aired on the soap in July of 2018, after succumbing to injuries incurred in a car accident.

Eileen Davidson, who returned last week as Ashley Abbott, is slated to take part in the tribute episode, too. Meanwhile, Shemar Moore, who appeared last week as Malcolm Winters to attend his brother Neil’s funeral, will also be back.

The Young and the Restless (YR) airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for air times.
