The week of July 30, 2018
After much speculation about her exit, Mishael Morgan took her final breath as Hilary Curtis on Friday, July 27, when the character died from complications resulting from a car accident.
Morgan joined the cast in 2013 and played the pivotal role for five years. Her exit was precipitated after a new contract could not be worked out between the actress and the soap.
Jason Canela, who debuted in the recurring role of Nikki’s boy toy Arturo Rosales back in February, has gotten a promotion. The actor has been upped to contract status with the soap.
