The Young and the Restless Comings And Goings: Troublemakers Return

Who’s coming and who’s going from The Young and the Restless (YR)? Are any favorite performers from yesteryear returning to the daytime drama, this week, or in the near future?

Have any new actors or actresses been cast on the show in contract, recurring or day player roles? Are any well remembered or beloved stars from other soaps, past or present, about to join The Young and the Restless fold in surprise new parts? Here’s the latest casting news from the CBS soap.

The week of July 22, 2019
Joseph C. Phillips begins a recurring stint as Judge Sanchez on Monday, July 22. The character will preside over the custody battle between Joshua Morrow’s Nick and Mark Grossman’s Adam for young Christian Newman.

Phillips is no stranger to daytime. The actor is best known for his portrayal of Justus Ward, Edward Quartermaine’s grandson, on General Hospital; a role he played from 1994 to 1998. He also appeared on YR in 2008 as Agent Jed Paulson.

Elizabeth Hendrickson has wrapped up her story arc as Chloe Mitchell. The door, however, has been left open and the character is expected to return in the future. The Young and the Restless (YR) airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for air times.
