Our Favorite Young and the Restless Moments With Kelly Sullivan

S age’s death on “The Young and the Restless” shocked, stunned, and upset fans all over the world as losing Kelly Sullivan from the show is heartbreaking.

To honor this truly gifted actress, we present you with our eight favorite Kelly Sullivan and Sage Newman moments.

8. Hooking Up with Adam

While this wasn’t one of Sage’s greatest moments, that one-night stand with Adam (Justin Hartley) was a pretty great time. It was shocking, unexpected, and best of all, gave Sage the chance to be a mommy.

7. Helping Sharon Get Visitation

If it wasn’t for Sage, Sharon (Sharon Case) may have gone a pretty long time without spending one-on-one time with Faith (Alyvia Alyn Lind). Nick was adamant that Sharon stay far away from their little girl, but Sage made sure he saw the error of his ways.

6. Marrying Nick

Sage’s first sweet moment was the day she became Mrs. Newman and pledged her life to Nick (Joshua Morrow). It was an evening of romance as the couple said their vows under the stars.

5. The Day Christian Was Born

Giving birth early is never ideal, but there was no joy like watching Sage meet her son for the first time. Although her happiness didn’t last long, she thankfully experienced the love a mother has for a child.

4. When She Was Told Christian Had Died

These scenes were the saddest fans have seen on Y&R in years, but Kelly Sullivan NAILED IT! She won over the hearts of the entire the fandom. Her performance felt real, unscripted, and believable. No one could have done it better.

3. When She Slapped Dr. Anderson

Okay, well she also hit Nick that day which was pretty awesome too, but taking down Sandy (Elizabeth Bogush) was one of our favorite moments. Little did Sage know just how much the doctor deserved it.

2. Holding Christian for the First Time

Seeing Sage bravely attend Sully’s christening was a feat of emotional strength no one expected, and the second “Sully” was placed in her arms hearts broke. She obviously felt the connection to the baby and had no idea why.

1. Her Last Moments With Christian

It was through tears that fans watched Sage take her last breath. The only solace we had was that she died with her miracle baby in her arms.
