Mark Grossman is best known for starring as Adam Newman on The Young and the Restless. The actor has also appeared in shows such as Hustle and Famous In Love.

Mark Grossman In The Beginning…
Grossman was born on February 3 and was raised in a small town in Arizona. He got involved in horseback riding as a child and loved the outdoors, but he first started acting when he was cast as the Beast in Beauty and the Beast at school.
Didn’t Always Want To Be An Actor
Though he began performing at a young age, he was not interested in becoming a professional actor until much later in his life. In fact, he became obsessed with motorcycles and dirt bikes as a kid and actually wanted to pursue motocross as a career. But, the acting bug bit.
Making It In Hollywood
While he was auditioning for roles in Los Angeles and was trying to make a career for himself, Grossman got into the catering business. It was perfect for him because he could work around his audition schedule and it helped pay all his bills!
What’s The Role?
After a few years of working in Hollywood, Grossman landed an audition for The Young and the Restless, but he didn’t know what the role was. He even screen-tested with co-stars Sharon Case and Nick Morrow, but he still didn’t know he was auditioning for Adam Newman. In fact, he didn’t find out his character’s name until he got the part.

Prior to landing his role on The Young and the Restless, Grossman had a recurring role on the Freeform show, Famous In Love.
