Last night, former “Young and the Restless” star Jessica Collins took home Emmy gold for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series.

5. Personal Life
Collins is a native of New York, growing up in Schenectady. In January of this year, the 45-year-old actress gave birth to her first child with boyfriend Michael Cooney. She named her little girl Jemma Kate.
4. Movie History
Collins’ first film role was as Miss Lawrenceville in the movie “Beautiful” where she starred opposite Minnie Driver. Since then, she’s starred with Leonardo DiCaprio in “Catch Me If You Can,” Jennifer Grey in the “Tales from the Crypt” presentation, “Ritual,” and Jenny McCarthy in the film “Dirty Love.”
3. A TV Star
Collins started her TV career as Dinah on the soap opera “Loving.” Since then, she’s appeared in multiple shows, including “Beverly Hills 90210,” “American Dreams,” “True Calling,” “Big Shots,” and “Scoundrels.”

Collins created the much-loved role of Avery Bailey Clark on Y&R in 2011. Through her romances with Nick (Joshua Morrow), Dylan (Steve Burton), and Joe (Scott Elrod), she audience fell in love. Her time on the show proved that women can have it all!

Collins received her very first Emmy nomination in 2013 for Y&R. Her second came this year, and this time, she took home the Golden Lady as the Outstanding Supporting Actress!
