While Rey has moved on with his life on The Young and the Restless after his ex-wife Mia took a wrecking ball to it, her portrayer has moved on with her life, as well. She’s on a new Netflix series and now we finally know when we’ll be able to see it!

Noemí Gonzalez In Selena The Series

While we knew that Gonzalez was cast as Selena’s sister in the TV series about the legendary singer whose life was cut short when she was murdered, we have been waiting to find out more about the project and more importantly, when we’ll be able to see it. Well, the exciting actress never disappoints — as she has taken to her Instagram account to share the terrific news.

“12/04 @netflix 🙏🏽💜🌟 what a great day on this magical set with an incredible cast & crew,” she began, alongside the official image for the show. “Thank you all so much for the love & support esp on our teaser release day! We are giving it our all for Selena, her music, legacy and fans!!! 🙏🏽✨💜 see y’all in December!!! 💜😬🙈✨🙏🏽”

In another post, Gonzalez showed a cast picture saying, “Selena y Los Dinos!!! 12.4.20 💜✨🙌🏽 I am so thankful to the real Selena y Los Dinos for all their music that will live on forever. Thank you for having me represent you 🙏🏽✨💜 forever grateful. Selena forever 💜✨🙏🏽”

She also shared the trailer for the series, which shows the late Tejano singer as her dreams come true. The series will also show her family as they make life-changing choices while on the singer’s path to success. To that end, there is an actress playing the adult version of Selena (Christian Serratos) and a younger version (Madison Taylor Baez).

Will Mia ever return to shake things up again in Genoa City? After all, Rey’s (Jordi Vilasuso) looking awfully happy with Sharon. Will Mia really allow that? Never say never. The Young and the Restless (YR) airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
