Soap opera stories either crawl or fly by, meaning that sometimes we have to miss big developments. Never fear, Soap Hub is here to fill you in on what you missed last week on The Young and the Restless.
Side Hustle
Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) became suspicious about her mother’s newfound aversion to money and questioned why Anita refused the $1 million that was on offer. Anita played dumb but initially admitted that she and Calvin’s lawyer had split a very hefty sum of off-the-book assets that Calvin had squirreled away.
Chelsea was shocked that her husband had engaged in illegal practices and she was especially disappointed in her mother, whom she told to go. Anita tried to make peace by returning the extra cash via Daryl and Chelsea subsequently returned a suitcase of loot to the scheming pair.
MIA
Adam (Mark Grossman) continued to make a bad situation worse by frightening Christian, who ran away and hid out in the park throwing his dads, Victoria (Amelia Heinle) and Elena (Brytni Sarpy) into a tizzy. Adam managed to find Christian and get him to come out of hiding but Nick (Joshua Morrow) took over and spirited the boy away.
Upon hearing about Adam’s latest move, Victor (Eric Braeden) pulled some strings that resulted in Adam being served a restraining order that barred him from seeing Christian.
An enraged Adam confronted his father and tried to play the pitiful victim. He even trotted out the whole, “You left me idyllic circumstances with my loving mother but I’m bad cause you didn’t fight for me” routine.
Victor called bulled on Adam’s pathetic argument and expressed disappointment not only in his son but in himself for not leaving Adam in Las Vegas.

When Summer (Hunter King) pressured Theo (Tyler Johnson) to come clean about the New York incident that he has been holding over Kyle’s (Michael Mealor) head since arriving in town.
And it turned out that it’s a tale as old as time. Underage party girl gets blind drunk at party, the party planners (read Kyle and Theo) dump her at the nearest E.R., speed away, and then end up with hush money.
Wedding Day
It’s time for Kyle and Lola’s (Sasha Calle) wedding and despite some last-minute jitters on Kyle’s part he was standing at the altar to great his future wife. And just who was escorting Lola down the aisle you ask? Why it’s her big brother Rey (Jordi Vilasuso) on one arm and her momma on the other.
That’s right folks, Celeste (Eva LaRue) couldn’t stay away from her daughters big day — and a pep talk from Jack (Peter Bergman) didn’t hurt.
Aside from the unwelcome appearance of Lola’s father, Adrian, who watched the proceedings from afar, the ceremony went off without a hitch. When’s the last time that happened on a soap opera? The Young and the Restless airs weekdays on ABC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
