Soap stories either crawl or fly by. However, sometimes we have to miss big developments. Never fear, Soap Hub is here to fill you in on what you missed last week on The Young and the Restless.
A Brand-New Traci
Traci (Beth Maitland) always works better when she has real-life inspiration that she can watch, study, and fold into her fictitious literary world so it comes as no surprise that she’s using Cane (Daniel Goddard) and Lily’s relationship as the backdrop for her next book.
However, something is a bit off with Ms. Abbott and her male muse. When Cane arrived at the Abbott home with a pitch for her novel Traci found herself fantasizing about what Mr. Ashby looks like sans business suit!
And Baby Makes Drama
Rey (Jordi Vilasuso) was fed up with Mia (Noemi Gonzalez) and her lies and schemes. He was convinced that her stomach pains were nothing but a farce to keep Paul from sending her straight to jail and since they were already in a hospital he wanted a paternity test taken.
After cooler heads prevailed, he and brother Arturo (Jason Canela) decide that whatever the outcome they will make the situation work but Mia said no matter who the father is, she has chosen a life with Arturo and she wants to be away from Rey and Genoa City.
The test results confirmed that Arturo is the baby’s father and he and Mia discussed plans to head back to Miami.
The Prodigal Son
After meeting Sharon (Sharon Case) in Las Vegas, an amnesiac Adam (Mark Grossman) agreed to return to Genoa City where he was immediately assaulted with stinging contempt from every family member he encountered.
Billy (Jason Thompson) and Nicholas (Joshua Morrow) both believe that the memory loss is a ruse (he’s faked it before) and Sharon is stunned to find Adam hoarding a giant duffel bag full of cash.
Steam Roller Summer
Summer (Hunter King) managed to throw her mother under the bus — by revealing to Jack (Peter Bergman) that Phyliss (Gina Tognoni) tried to hack the Jabot servers so she could get a peek at their product line. She also tried to throw co-worker (and estranged hubby) Kyle (Michael Mealor) to the wolves by telling Jack that his son was too focused on lady love Lola (Sasha Calle) than he was on making business deals.
Adam, Adam, Adam!
Adam was hit with the one-two gut punch of learning he was guilty of vehicular manslaughter and Victor springing a surprise visit with Christian but neither event triggered a memory. Fed up with Victor’s nagging, Adam decided to take his cash and return to Vegas but an assailant greeted him at the front door and fired a bullet into his stomach!
