Soap opera stories either crawl or fly by, meaning that sometimes we have to miss big developments. Never fear, Soap Hub is here to fill you in on what you missed last week on The Young and the Restless.
Chelsea Takes A Stand
Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) arrived at Adam’s (Mark Grossman) office just in time to stop him and Nicholas (Joshua Morrow) from engaging in fisticuffs. She agreed to accompany Adam back to his penthouse for a private chat.
Adam was delirious with excitement about seeing her again but Chelsea put her foot down and told him that she wasn’t interested in a reconciliation.
Furthermore, she told him that she didn’t want to tell Connor about Adam’s resurrection. A distraught Adam threatened to fight her for custody.
Kevin Is Rumbled
An accidental encounter with Kevin (Greg Rikaart) made Phyliss (Michelle Stafford) realize that he was the one who kidnapped her. When Red confronted Adam about it, he confessed that Kevin had kidnapped her for blackmail purposes.
To compensate her for the trouble, Adam told Phyllis she could have Kevin at her beck and call as he is under Adam’s thumb.
Mama Rosales Moves In And Takes Over

Lola later revealed to her mother that Kyle was also living at the apartment but Celeste said she already knew. She just wanted some girl time with Lola.
Reap What You Sew – Phyllis
Phyllis tried to make nice with all the people she wronged by inviting them to a party at Adam’s house. She thought she made inroads with Sumer (Hunter King), who she nurses after an all-night alcohol binge. However, the next morning Summer snuck out leaving only a tersely-written note.
On the evening of her big party, Phyllis was disheartened when only Michael (Christian LeBlanc), Lauren (Tracey E. Bregman) and Jack (Peter Bergman) made an appearance. She and Adam wound up nursing their collective sorrows with champagne and a cake.
A (Near) Instant Widow
Chelsea was shocked to see her husband Calvin in Genoa City. She got an even nastier shock when he revealed that he had a talk with Adam and agrees that Connor should be with him.
She and Calvin argued about the situation and later that night Chelsea phoned Nicholas to tell him that Calvin was dead! The Young and the Restless airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
