Reeling from the news about Victor’s death and having gained a new perspective on his upbringing, Jack (Peter Bergman) spent an afternoon with his mother. He apologized for vilifying her for his entire life and he opinions that he now understands her struggles and why she did what she did.
He told her that he loves her and for a brief moment, Dina (Marla Adams) recognized him, reciprocates his feelings and leaned in for a comforting hug.
Sharon (Sharon Case) arrived at Adam’s and implored him to clear Victoria’s name — they both know she would never poison Victor. When Adam asked what would be in it for him Sharon offered to be his conscience and keep him on the straight and narrow.
However, she wasn’t prepared for his next question: does she love him? When Sharon couldn’t say yes, Adam escorted her to the door and said that if he can’t have a full relationship with her he isn’t interested in anything else.
