This fall, Justin Hartley (Adam) will be both a primetime and daytime star.
Hartley will continue on “The Young and the Restless” as Adam, but will also star in the new NBC series “This Is Us.” The show recently released the official trailer and it’s obvious that Hartley is no stranger to the primetime spotlight.
It won’t be the first time Hartley juggled multiple roles. When he first began on Y&R, he also starred on “Mistresses.” He even landed a lead role in the movie “Challenger” while still playing Adam.
In “This is Us,” Hartley will play Kevin, a bored mega-star seeking a more meaningful existence. His life becomes intertwined with a collective of unique individuals, most of whom have the same birthdays.
Hartley will appear opposite Mandy Moore, Chrissy Metz, Milo Ventimiglia, and Sterling K. Brown. The show is scheduled to start on NBC’s Fall lineup on Tuesday nights at 9 pm EST, but the network has not released a premiere date.
