Tales From the Dark Side: Do Young and the Restless Fans Like the New Adam?

Adam is back on The Young and the Restless! He was never exactly a nice guy. But now this new (younger) version is suing Nick (Joshua Morrow) for custody of Christian, kidnapping Chloe (Elizabeth Hendrickson), blackmailing Kevin (Greg Rikaart), and being rude to Victoria (Amelia Heinle) — not to mention Victor (Eric Braeden)! Are fans digging this darker Adam (Mark Grossman)? What over 10,000 think about it:

Not My Adam
This is not the Adam 83% of you fell in love with — or remember. He had his flaws, but he also had his good points. He loved Sharon (Sharon Case) — when he wasn’t kidnapping Faith (Alyvia Alyn Lind) from her (and possibly even then).

He loved Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan). And he deliberately changed the paternity results so that Nick (Joshua Morrow) would end up raising Christina.

Well, yeah, see…Adam’s changed his mind. First, he got Phyllis to hack into the Dark Horse computers, bought Nick’s loans, and offered him a deal — the company or the boy? That’s hitting below the belt. And you’re not loving it.

Plus, there’s Adam’s new attitude towards Victor. He’s not as worshipful as Victor would like. And if Victor doesn’t like it, nobody can.

New and Improved
Keep it coming, 17% of the audience cheers, this is the Adam you always wanted. The one who is angry over Victor abandoning him to shoveling manure all those years, the one who Victor always made it clear to that he didn’t measure up, the one who is tired of losing the girl — and the kid.

Adam was dead for years. But now he’s back, and he wants back everything he lost. If Chelsea and Connor refuse to return to him, then Sharon and Christian will do. Plus all that money Victoria gave him, and Nick’s company, to boot. It’s good to be the king!
