Phyllis should be a happy camper these days on The Young and the Restless. She got her hotel away from Abby (Melissa Ordway). She and Nick (Joshua Morrow) are deliriously happy, as indicated by their non-step sex and video gaming. Her daughter has a great job, and the guy of her dreams. Life is good. Or, at least, it should be. But, no, Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) has decided to obsess over Sally (Courtney Hope).
She says it’s because Sally is a threat to Summer (Hunter King) and Kyle’s (Michael Mealor) happiness. Oh, and to Jack (Peter Bergman), too. The playboy of Genoa City is such an innocent when it comes to romantic relationships! Is Phyllis going too far with this obsession? What over 2,000 fans want her to know:
Get over it, Phyl, 54% of the audience urges. Jack can take care of himself, and so can your Supergirl. No one is asking for your help, so why not take a seat and just watch everything develop. You can always chime in with an ‘I Told You So’ later if the situation goes left.
Then again, 32% of you are thrilled that Phyllis is doing the fans’ dirty work, which is breaking up that cradle-robbing, social-climbing abomination that is the pairing of Jack and Sally.
She’s not young enough to be his daughter, she’s old enough to be his granddaughter! (Think about it, Nick was Jack’s stepson, Summer is his daughter, Sally is Summer’s age. Duh.) We’re grossed out watching and support her desire to end it.
Only 14% of you think Phyllis hasn’t crossed the line… yet. But considering how all her plans keep falling through, you’re afraid that she’ll get desperate and start taking bigger and bigger chances. Phyllis has never been a very good judge of knowing when to stop. The Young and the Restless (YR) airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
