Shemar Moore, who stars starting in November as Daniel “Hondo” Harrelson on the primetime series S.W.A.T., is going back to one of the shows that helped make him a star.
Alas, the actor who created the role of Malcolm on The Young and the Restless (YR) isn’t head back to Genoa City. Instead, Moore’s reprising his role as Derek Morgan on Criminal Minds, the series he starred on for 11 seasons, which he shared on Instagram (see the post below).
The Emmy-winning actor will appear in Minds’ fifth episode, which airs Wednesday, Oct. 25 at 10pm ET on CBS. Moore, an original cast member of Minds, appeared in 252 episodes of the procedural drama that examines the most heinous criminals out there.
Watch for Morgan to return to his former place of employment to help Penelope Garcia (played by Kristen Vangsness) deal with a case that has affected her emotionally.
Fans of Moore can see, well, “more” of the actor when S.W.A.T. debuts on Thursday, Nov. 2 at 10pm on CBS.
The Young and the Restless airs week days on CBS. Check local listings for time and channel.
