Sharon and Nick’s little Faith isn’t so little anymore on The Young and the Restless. Not only is she lying and drinking, but she’s talking to strangers on the Internet and falling for their nonsense hook, line, and sinker. Is it time for the Newman heiress to fall in love? What almost 3,000 longtime viewers voted:
The Young and the Restless Polling: Give It Time
Almost half of you, 47%, believe Faith (Alyvia Alyn Lind) is still too young to get serious about anyone. Let’s be honest, the kid has terrible judgment. She can’t see that BFF Jordan is obviously bad news.
She is texting with someone who claims to be a kid she knows from school – but won’t meet in person – and it doesn’t cross her mind that he might be a skeevy 50-year-old texting from some filthy basement, never mind that awful Jordan (see above)? This is not a young woman mature enough to embark on a relationship.
Slow and Steady
Then again, a slightly smaller 40% of the audience is more open to the idea… as long as Faith takes it slow. For instance, actually, meet your secret admirer face to face, and see if he is really who he says he is, first. Then introduce him to Victor (Eric Braeden). If this kid can handle Grandpa, he’s a keeper. If he can’t, it doesn’t matter how much you like him. He won’t last. Just ask your parents.
Get On With It
It’s about time, 13% cheer. You’ve been waiting for years now. Nobody is worth anything on a soap unless they’re part of a couple, and it’s time for Faith to take her place in the Newman pantheon of stupid women making stupid choices.
By the time Sharon (Sharon Case) was Faith’s age, she’d already hooked up with her first psycho, and given birth to twins who were given up for adoption! Get with the program, Faith! The Young and the Restless (YR) airs weekdays on CBS. Check your local listings for airtimes.
