One full year after Nick and Sage falsely learned their preemie baby, Christian, had died, Genoa City residents are about to learn that reports of his death have been greatly exaggerated on The Young and the Restless.

The Big Day
Set your DVRs for November 1 when GC Buzz finally reveals the truth about Sully, the baby once known as Christian. According to TV Insider’s Michael Logan, that’s when it’s all about to hit the fan.

Actress Sharon Case is pragmatic about her character’s plight, and even feels she’s a victim as much as anyone else in this sticky situation.

Life Will Never Be The Same
“The fallout is even bigger than she fears,” Case told Logan. “Of course, her husband, Dylan, is really mad that this baby isn’t his and that she’s been keeping this horrible secret and it’s going to be very hard on the marriage. But the news breaks on GC Buzz, so everyone in town is in shock and very upset.”

However, Case made sure to remind viewers how this baby ended up with Sharon to begin with. Dr. Anderson drugged her, made her believe she was pregnant, and actually convinced her she had given birth.

A Victim?
“No one in town wants to acknowledge that, for a long time, she really did think this baby was hers,” Case said. “She bonded with him. She loves him. The child’s real mother is dead and he’s been in good hands and in good health. Once Sharon learned the truth, she just froze. Giving up this baby would be devastating. I think she had fair reason not to say anything.”

Sharon did have the perfect opportunity back in February to confess all after Sage learned Sully was her son. She might have even done it if Sage didn’t end up dead minutes later. Sharon made a rash decision, and it looks like it’s going to cost her.

More Story To Tell…
As far as GC residents know, Nick (Joshua Morrow) is Sully’s real dad, but fans have been led to believe Adam is the father. For now, Y&R writers seem to be sticking with Adam, but this story may not be over by a long shot.

Y&R airs weekdays on CBS. Share your thoughts, leave a comment in the section below. Win exclusive member-only The Young and the Restless prizes, and more: sign up here.
