Stitch left The Young and the Restless to deal with his sick son. He left behind Abby (Melissa Ordway), the woman he was married to, and Ashley (Eileen Davidson), Abby’s mother, who Stitch (Sean Carrigan) confessed having feelings for.
Well, these days, Abby is having a very undefined relationship with Nate (Sean Dominic), while Ashley is traveling between Genoa City and Paris while she and Jack (Peter Bergman) merge their two companies.
Does Ashley need a reason to return to town for good? Does Abby need a reason to give up on Nate? Could Stitch be either — or both — of those reasons? Here’s what over 25,000 fans have to say:
Unfinished Business
The kid’s got to be better by now, right, 69% of the audience is asking? And if not, there’s always that soap stand-by — boarding school. You feel like Stitch’s story never got a satisfactory conclusion.
One minute he was there, the next he was gone. So whatever happened to his mixed feelings for Abby and Ashley? This was a triangle with lots of potential that got lost in the shuffle, and you demand your closure.
So come on back, Stitch, even bring the kid — it’s not like Genoa City has much of a teen scene now that Reed (Tristan Lake Leabu), Charlie (Noah Alexander Garry), and Mattie (Lexie Stevenson) are nowhere to be found. And give fans the ending they’ve been looking for. Or, maybe, a new beginning…
Done and Done
A smaller group, 31% of you, isn’t interested in opening up old wounds. You like Abby with Nate, and you think Ashley can do better. Besides, competing with your daughter for a man is… tacky. If Ashley is going to go younger, let’s pull Ravi (Abhi Sinha) out of the IT Department and give that relationship another go. The Young and the Restless (YR) airs weekdays on CBS.
