Mariah Copeland is not dealing with the aftermath of surrogacy very well. Y&R spoilers hint she’s becoming desperate for a baby of her own. And, the more Tessa Porter says no, the more frantic Mariah becomes. We can see this taking a very dark turn as Mariah’s baby fever reaches a boiling point.
Y&R Spoilers Wild Speculation
If Mariah (Camryn Grimes) can’t get a baby of her own, we can see her going to great lengths to be close to Dominic. It’ll start very innocent with a friendly pop-in and then maybe Mariah offering to help when Abby Newman Abbott Chancellor (Melissa Ordway) is overwhelmed, and soon an obsession begins to unfold. Mariah begins to disagree with how Abby is raising the baby and before we know it, she becomes the ultimate mom-shamer.
Mariah Does The Unthinkable
Once Mariah gets it into her head that Abby isn’t doing what’s best for the baby, there’s no going back. Mariah will obsess and criticize Abby to the point where Mariah becomes less than welcome at the Chancellor Mansion. That’s when things spiral out of control.
Not only does Mariah not like how Abby is handling her precious cargo, but being banished sets her off. We can just see it now – Mariah goes over to the house to sort things out, lashes out at Abby, and they fight over the baby. And, that battle happens at the top of the stairway.

Y&R spoilers wild speculation predicts that Mariah and Abby struggle over the baby with Mariah ripping little Dominic out of his mother’s arms and causing Abby to tumble down the stairs. Abby barely survives the fall and ends up in a coma due to her head injury.
With no witnesses, Mariah makes up a story and proceeds to step up big time for baby Dominic. She takes on quite the motherly role pretending she’s just stepping in while her bestie is recovering. However, the longer this goes on, the more attached she gets, and before long, she’s calling herself Mommy.
Y&R: More Twisted Twists?
Of course, nothing lasts forever in Genoa City and it’s only a matter of time before Abby wakes up and tries to reclaim her life. Will Mariah double down and try to take off with Dominic?
