Y&R Spoilers Wild Spec: The Newmans and Chelsea Go To War

Chelsea Lawson took off for the midwest and everyone thought it would be weeks before her return. Not so much. Y&R spoilers tease her presence will be felt shortly. Rumor has it, this is a move she will regret. A secret scheme may be on the way, and it will lead to the custody battle of the century.

Conner Newman (Judah Mackey) is the apple of his mother’s eye. Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) loves that little boy like nobody’s business and hates the mere idea o being away from him any more than necessary. He is her pride, her joy, and the person she cherishes the most. A mother’s love knows no bounds and she proves that over and over again.

Victor Newman to the Extreme

However, her love is no match for Victor Newman’s (Eric Braeden) schemes. He continues staking claim to his grandson, even despite his own son’s objections. The Mustache doesn’t care whether or not Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) is willing to split time with his boy. Victor wants Connor raised at the ranch so be raised at the ranch he shall – by any means necessary.

Victor is going to make a seemingly dangerous move to make Chelsea look like an epic failure as a mother. Poor Connor will be an unwitting pawn in this little game and while he won’t get hurt, this move implies he would be if he continues being with his mother. Whatever it is, a judge would have more than enough evidence to strip Chelsea of her rights.

What could possibly be so bad? You ask. Well, soap friends, Y&R spoilers hint the sky is the limit with The Great Victor Newman. He goes dirtier than dirty and continually reaches lows you would never expect. Of course, it’s all for good reason, though. He’s just trying to protect his family.

Young and Restless: An Explosive Court Battle

You bet your bottom dollar Adam will run with the story. He may say he’s all for Chelsea being with their son, but we all know he would just love to raise Connor on his own. He will play the game and sling all the mud he can Chelsea’s way if he believes the scheme Victor pulled — without his knowledge.

Unfortunately, for the Newman men, Chelsea isn’t exactly easy prey. She will fight back tooth and nail. Adam isn’t exactly an angel and just wait until the full roster of his crimes is put on display. Chelsea will obliterate Adam and prove her innocence. This woman will go to the ends of the earth to prove she isn’t crying wolf, again. And, if (when?) she does, the Newman house of cards will topple. Think this wild speculation could come true?
