A deadly illness, a vicious custody battle, and a budding love story all rolled into one. What could possibly be next for Ashland Locke? Y&R spoilers hint the Lockeness Monster is about to make another bold move. We think we know what it is and we’re sure it’s all part of his master plan.
Y&R Spoilers Wild Speculation
Poor Ashland (Richard Burgi) has suffered a string of bad luck since his first visit to Genoa City. His marriage crumbled, he doesn’t see his son (Kyle’s son? Theo’s son? – it all depends on who you ask) at will, and now Tara is taking him to court. How is he going to fight for custody while being a dying man who continues to display his temper in public? We’ll tell you now – by marrying Victoria Newman.
Young and Restless Spoilers: Ashland’s Power Move
We can just see it now, Ashland cries to Victoria about the possibility of losing Harrison and it breaks her heart. She knows what it’s like to be away from a child, she spent too many days, weeks, and years away from Reed Hellstrom. She simply cannot let that happen to someone she loves.
Y&R spoilers have us thinking that Victoria will be the one to suggest a trip down the aisle. Tara won’t have a leg to stand on once they say their vows. No court in the world would turn down the billionaire couple in favor of a freeloader, right? Let’s face it, Tara doesn’t even have her own place, never mind the money to fight back. It’s the perfect plan. Except, it’s not. This is a very, very bad idea.
Little does Victoria know, this just plays right into Ashland’s hands. They rush to the altar and since Ash is “dying,” she doesn’t think to stop at the lawyer’s office along the way. Victoria makes the mistake of marrying this virtual stranger without so much as a basic prenup.
Y&R: Victoria Loses Big Time
The Y&R spoilers hint the marriage will give Ashland everything he needs to steal Newman Enterprises right out from under Victoria’s nose – which was the plan all along. He was never dying, he and Tara never really broke up, even the Harrison drama was staged. These two played everyone just to get their hands on Victor’s company!
Just imagine the fall-out when this all comes out as a scam. Victoria will have to admit defeat to Daddy, which will not go well. The Great Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) taught her better than this. Now, the Newmans will have to fight to regain control and oust those nasty outsiders.
