Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) loves Elena Dawson (Brytni Sarpy). Elena loves Nate. So, why not live together? That was Nate’s solution and he proposed the idea to his lady love.
Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) came home, finally. She is back, feeling fresh, and ready to shake things up. She was thrilled to see her bestie, Chloe Mitchell (Elizabeth Hendrickson), who was just as happy to see her. Unfortunately, things took a turn when Chelsea announced she was not only reluctant to go to work at Newman Media but to stay in Genoa City at all.
Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) and Tessa Porter (Cait Fairbanks) had a serious talk about the next step of their romance – a baby. Mariah’s ready to be a mother and Tessa is too…sort of. She proposed visiting the idea of bringing a child into their family via adoption.
The Young and the Restless Week Ahead
After a long day of giving back to children in need in the spirit of Christmas, Nicholas Newman (Joshua Morrow), dressed up as Santa Clause, falls asleep at Crimson Lights. As he lulls off to sleep, his dreams turn into a form of his reality and he takes a journey of reflection to figure out what he truly wants from life.
Along the way, Y&R spoilers show he runs into meaningful people from his life. Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) appears, Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) pops in for a bit, even Faith Newman (Reylynn Caster) and Noah Newman (Rory Gibson) visit him in dreamland. Hopefully, when he awakens, he’ll gain the clarity he was seeking.
In a surprising about-face, Tessa agrees to start planning a future with Mariah, babies and all. Tessa asks if Mariah would be willing to adopt a child, or if her heart was set on having a biological one. This all comes out of left-field as far as Mariah is concerned, and can’t imagine what caused Tessa to have such a change of heart. She takes the time to figure out if Tessa is doing this of her own accord, or only to make Mariah happy.
