Y&R Spoilers Weekly Recap
This week, Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) and Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) crossed a line when they kissed in her hotel room. He’s nearly certain that they’re getting back together, but she sure does feel a siren call of stability from Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow). Of course, Nick had to deal with Victor Newman (Eric Braeden), warning him to stop going after Sally, but he didn’t seem inclined to listen to his father.
Elsewhere, Victor also took Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) to task over whatever was wrong with his marriage to Abby Newman Abbott Chancellor (Melissa Ordway). Chance wasn’t at all interested in talking to Victor about it, and he ended up telling Abby he was ready to make their split official with a divorce.
Across town at the Abbott’s, Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) continued to pull on Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) and Kyle Abbott’s (Michael Mealor) heartstrings, and they basically pledged their lives to her protection. She wasted no time in crowing about that to Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John) and the three women who are trying to run her out of town. As for Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson), Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott), and Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford), the first two started having second thoughts, but Phyllis went rogue and contacted Jeremy Stark (James Hyde) herself, and he just managed to show up at the Abbott’s front door as the week ended.
The Young and the Restless Week Ahead
Coming up, you’ll see Nick make a shocking discovery, and we suspect it has a whole lot to do with Adam and Sally reconnecting in her hotel room. Later in the week, Nick will test Summer Newman Abbott (Allison Lanier). Will it be about Sally, or something else?
Elsewhere, Jack decides he’s had all he can possibly take of his ex. No, it’s not Diane — the woman who literally invites danger into the Abbott home this week. Instead, it’s Phyllis, and we don’t think she’ll take too kindly to his demands. In fact, if we were betting, we’d put money on Phyllis doing the exact opposite of what Jack asks, but who knows? Perhaps his ultimatum will be something so dear to her that she’ll change her tune — stranger things have happened.
As for Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) — he has a change of heart. Is it about going on the business trip with Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle), or is it something to do with Elena Dawson (Brytni Sarpy) or his cousins? Be sure to check out the daily breakdown below.
