The action starts on Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) as she lays in bed and wakes with a start — full of fear already. Victor (Eric Braeden) is furious and wants to know where his wife is. That’s when Jordan (Colleen Zenk) drops her bomb.
“You don’t have long to live; it’s going to be my pleasure to watch you die,” she smirks, her hands together in faux prayer formation. Though in some ways, this is an answer to her own prayers — having the powerful Newman clan exactly where she wants them — at her mercy!

“I’m up here, please,” Nikki pleads, pounding on the door. The next thing we see is Nick (Joshua Morrow) chasing Jordan up the stairs, but she has a surprise for him — a knife as she slices right through his shirt to his stomach. He looks at her in horror.
