Y&R Spoilers Video Preview

The Genoa City gala comes to a screeching halt when Chance (Connor Floyd) arrives with tragic news. “The ambulance that cashed, it was Phyllis’s,” he sadly informs everyone. “Phyllis didn’t make it.”

As you can expect, this devastates everyone, especially poor Summer (Allison Lanier). She practically collapses into Kyle’s (Michael Mealor) arms, sobbing. Later, he takes her to the Abbott mansion where Summer tells Ashley (Eileen Davidson) what happened. “My mom is dead,” she wails.

Don’t think this won’t have an impact on Jack (Peter Bergman) and Diane (Susan Walters). “How can Phyllis be gone?” Jack questions the universe. It’s all very surreal, indeed.

As for Phyllis’s son…Daniel (Michael Graziadei) thinks he knows exactly who is responsible. He corners Jeremy (James Hyde) and demands to know what the baddie did to his mother. “Are you the reason she’s dead?” He wants answers and wants them right now. See it all for yourself in the sneak peek video below.

The Young and the Restless History

Y&R made its debut in 1973 and introduced more sexual undertones and younger characters to daytime soap operas. It has outlasted other soaps to become a mainstay for many households. Needless to say, four decades of storylines have kept viewers locked in.

From Victor Newman’s (Eric Braeden) family machinations to Traci Abbott’s (Beth Maitland) heart to the complicated love story of Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) and Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford), Y&R knows how to entertain and keep fans coming back for more.
