Friends and family gather at the jazz club to honor Neil (Kristoff St. John). There are stories of love, laughter, and touching toasts, starting with Victor (Eric Braeden). “We’re here to honor a man who was my friend, Neil Winters,” he begins. “Because after all has been said and done, it is family that holds us together.”
In a touching show of support, Malcolm (Shemar Moore) arrives to join the celebration. “Y’all know me,” he says. “When it came to the great Neil Winters, I show up.” How could he not? He loved his brother through thick and thin. See it all for yourself in the sneak peek video below.
The Young and the Restless History
Y&R made its debut in 1973 and introduced more sexual undertones and younger characters to daytime soap operas. It has outlasted other soaps to become a mainstay for many households. Needless to say, four decades of storylines have kept viewers locked in.
From Victor Newman’s (Eric Braeden) family machinations to Traci Abbott’s (Beth Maitland) heart to the complicated love story of Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) and Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford), Y&R knows how to entertain and keep fans coming back for more.
