Mariah (Camryn Grimes) has always been a loner. It probably comes from growing up in a cult, where your business was public property. In addition, Mariah was raised by a single adoptive mom, then got to know her biological mom, who has been a single parent numerous times in between her break-ups with Nicholas Newman (Joshua Morrow).
Plus, it looks like Abby Chancellor (Melissa Ordway), the woman Mariah had Bowie for, is on her own for the foreseeable future. All of this is to say, 54% of you are convinced that if Tessa (Cait Fairbanks) doesn’t want to have a baby with her, you speculate that Mariah will go for it on her own.

Unforgiven on Young and the Restless
A smaller 36% of the audience predicts Mariah will give in to Tessa’s pleas and drop her plans for a baby of their own. But the resentment Mariah will keep feeling will also keep festering until she is so angry at Tessa that she ends up leaving her anyway. This couple is already doomed. The only question is how long it will take before both face the inevitable.

Only 10% speculate that Mariah to heed Tessa’s feelings and wait for them to have a child. Remember when Mariah decided she was in love with Tessa and was furious when Tessa was slower to return her feelings? Mariah wants what Mariah wants when Mariah wants it.
