Y&R spoilers showed us a Kyle convinced he can be the playboy his dad, “Smilin’ Jack,” was once notorious for being. After all, Jack may have slept with Kyle’s mom on his wedding day to another woman, but Kyle is sleeping with Audra while still being married to Summer.

So that’s just the same, right? And what about that time Kyle (Michael Mealor) knocked up a married woman? Yeah, he’s a chip off the old block. He thinks. But is he really?

What Kyle fails to realize, though, is that his and Jack’s (Peter Bergman) motivations are different. Jack slept with models and virgins and stepmothers because he enjoyed it. Because he wanted to have a good time and thought only about himself. He wasn’t doing it to make a point. Heck, he was too busy to realize there might even be a point. He was smiling because he was happy.
Kyle, on the other hand, is acting out because he’s angry at Summer (Allison Lanier) and thinks sleeping with Audra (Zuleyka Silver) will make him feel better. But, it’s just making him more mopey. And more self-righteous. Which isn’t fun for us to watch. So how can it be fun for him?

Y&R Spoilers: Pale Imitation
Kyle fails to see that this isn’t a numbers game. It’s not how many women you sleep with that makes you a player. It’s being playful. You don’t get women to become happy. When you’re happy, you get women.
Also, Jack really didn’t care who he was with. It was all part of the game. Kyle attributes way too much to any relationship, which is why he should wipe that smirk off his face. He’ll never have his father’s smile. Or his way with the ladies.
