Y&R spoilers laugh at the idea that Phyllis is planning to turn over a new leaf. She keeps paying lip service to becoming a kindler, gentler sociopath, but her actions say otherwise. She is still desperate to break up Diane and Jack, whether she has to frame Billy for grand theft, or tip Jack off about a bug in his bonsai tree — the eavesdropping kind, not the kind that will eat through the floors of the Abbott mansion. The plan seems to be to make Jack so enamored of Phyllis again, that it prompts Diane to stomp off in a huff. Will Phyllis’s plan work?
Y&R Spoilers Speculation: The More the Merrier
Phyllis (Michelle Stafford) intends to make herself indispensable to Jack (Peter Bergman). She’ll keep feeding him little tidbits of information about Tucker (Trevor St. John). And she’ll need to do it in person, of course. This meeting couldn’t have been a phone call any more than that phone call could have been an email. They’ll be spending oodles of time together. But, you don’t mind, do you, Diane (Susan Walters)?
Y&R: Where I Want To Be and Who I Want To Be
What Phyllis doesn’t anticipate is that, no, thank you for asking, but Diane doesn’t mind. Why should she? A year ago, Diane was persona non grata with Jack, and Kyle (Michael Mealor) was barely talking to his mother. Now, Kyle is confiding in her, little Harrison (Kellen Eriquez) adores his Didi, and Jack is head over heels in love with his new bride, to the point where he can’t stop exchanging vows with her.
Y&R Spoilers: Wouldn’t Hurt a Fly
In other words, Diane has everything she ever wanted. Phyllis is the one on the outside. Why should Diane feel threatened? If anything, she should encourage Jack’s meetings with Phyllis. The more time they spend together, the more Jack will be reminded of why he and “Red” split up in the first place.
